Certified Flight Instructor (CFII)

Heli Aviation offers one of the most desired flight instructor positions in the industry. We are currently hiring instrument rated flight instructors (CFII) to join our team in Florida, for Robinson R22 and R44 Series Helicopter. The duties include sightseeing tours in the R44 as well. Applicants who meet the required experience listed below, will also be considered for a Bell 206 L-3 and MD500D pilot/instructor position.

NOTE: We do not hire pilots for Bell or MD only. Candidates must qualify for Robinson models, as those will be the main aircraft your flying.

We are dedicated to offering our employees a professional and team-oriented working environment. Our CFI’s work as independent  contractors on an hourly basis, flying 25 to 150 hours a month (depending on seasonal fluctuations.) Selected candidates will be invited to an email interview, and possibly selected for an in-person interview prior to a company check out flight.

    Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate
    Current FAA Instrument Rotorcraft Rating
    Current FAA Instrument rated Flight Instructor Certificate
    Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate (or higher)
    SFAR CFI Endorsement for R22 and R44

    300 hours total time on helicopter
    200 hours on Robinson aircraft
    150 hours dual given as CFI, of which are
    50 hrs dual given for IFR training
    50 hours in Robinson R44 Series
    100 hours in Robinson R22 Series

    Legal resident (work visa, Greencard, etc.) or U.S. citizen.
    Bilingual in German & English is extremely valued but not mandatory.
    Professional appearance is mandatory for this position.
    Superior customer service, and communication skills are expected.
    Job requires flexibility with work/personal schedule.

    Flight Instruction $25-30*
    Ground Instruction $20
    Other Services $ 25
    *with opportunity for wage growth based on performance and experience.

Operations Manager

Heli Aviation is looking for a part-time Operations Manager, overseeing our 133 and 135 Contracts (this includes assisting, filing, scheduling and maintaining all necessary paperwork). Experience working within the Aviation Industry is required, as well as knowledge of coordinating and working with the FAA. A professional office appearance is mandatory, along with a positive demeanor and adequate social skills.
