Certified Flight Instructor (CFII)
Heli Aviation offers one of the most desired flight instructor positions in the industry. We are currently hiring instrument rated flight instructors (CFII) to join our team in Florida, for Robinson R22 and R44 Series Helicopter. Applicants who meet the required experience listed below, will also be considered for a Bell 206 L-3 pilot/instructor position.
We are dedicated to offering our employees a professional and team-oriented working environment. Our CFI’s work as independent contractors on an hourly basis, flying 25 to 150 hours a month (depending on seasonal fluctuations.) Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate
Current FAA Instrument Rotorcraft Rating
Current FAA Instrument rated Flight Instructor Certificate
Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate (or higher)
SFAR CFI Endorsement for R22 and R44
FLIGHT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
300 hours total time on helicopter
200 hours on Robinson aircraft
100 hours dual given as CFI, of which are
50 hrs dual given for IFR training
50 hours in Robinson R44 Series
Legal resident (work visa, Greencard, etc.) or U.S. citizen.
Bilingual in German & English is extremely valued.
Professional appearance is mandatory for this position.
Superior customer service, and communication skills are expected.
Job requires flexibility with work/personal schedule.
Flight Instruction $18 p.hr.*
Ground Instruction $15 p.hr.
Other Services $ 10 p.hr.
*with opportunity for wage growth based on performance and experience.
Heli Aviation is looking for a part-time Operations Manager, overseeing our 133 and 135 Contracts (this includes assisting, filing, scheduling and maintaining all necessary paperwork). Experience working within the Aviation Industry is required, as well as knowledge of coordinating and working with the FAA. A professional office appearance is mandatory, along with a positive demeanor and adequate social skills.
