slider_data=”%5B%7B%22slider_title%22%3A%221st%20Week%22%2C%22slider_desc%22%3A%221st%20WEEK%3A%5CnThe%20student%20will%20be%20introduced%20to%20helicopters%20and%20become%20familiar%20with%20the%20aerodynamic%20principles%20of%20flight%20which%20affect%20their%20operation.%20The%20student%20will%20also%20obtain%20a%20basic%20knowledge%20of%20the%20safety%20of%20flight%2C%20airports%20and%20heliports%2C%20airspace%2C%20radio%20communications%2C%20and%20air%20traffic%20control%20services%2C%20including%20the%20use%20of%20radar.%20In%20addition%2C%20the%20student%20will%20learn%20how%20to%20predict%20performance%20and%20control%20weight%20and%20balance%20conditions%20of%20the%20helicopter.%20During%20the%20flight%20lessons%2C%20the%20student%20becomes%20familiar%20with%20the%20training%20helicopter%20and%20learns%20how%20the%20helicopter%20controls%20are%20used%20to%20establish%20and%20maintain%20specific%20flight%20attitudes.%22%7D%2C%7B%22slider_title%22%3A%222nd%20Week%22%2C%22slider_desc%22%3A%222nd%20WEEK%3A%5CnThe%20student%20will%20become%20familiar%20with%20the%20Federal%20Aviation%20Regulations%20(FAR)%20as%20they%20apply%20to%20private%20pilot%20operations.%20You%20will%20learn%20how%20to%20procure%20weather%20information%20and%20interpret%20printed%20reports%20and%20graphic%20weather%20products.%20In%20addition%2C%20you%20will%20learn%20about%20aeronautical%20charts%2C%20flight%20computers%2C%20pilotage%2C%20dead%20reckoning%2C%20and%20flight%20information%20sources.%20During%20the%20flight%20lessons%2C%20the%20student%20will%20expand%20the%20skills%20learned%20in%20the%20previous%20week%20and%20learn%20proper%20aeronautical%20decision%20making%2C%20as%20well%20as%20gain%20an%20insight%20into%20emergency%20situations%2C%20including%20retreating%20blade%20stall%2C%20dynamic%20rollover%2C%20ground%20resonance%2C%20low%20G%20conditions%2C%20low%20RPM%20blade%20stall%2C%20LTE%2C%20settling-with-power%2C%20straight-in%20and%20turning%20autorotations%2C%20and%20more.%20At%20the%20end%20of%20the%20second%20week%2C%20and%20after%20safely%20demonstrating%20selected%20maneuvers%20and%20sound%20judgment%20in%20the%20aircraft%2C%20you%20get%20to%20do%20something%20you%20will%20remember%20for%20the%20rest%20of%20your%20life%3B%20fly%20solo%20for%20the%20first%20time.%20%22%7D%2C%7B%22slider_title%22%3A%223rd%20Week%22%2C%22slider_desc%22%3A%223rd%20WEEK%3A%5CnIntroduction%20of%20maximum%20performance%20takeoffs%20and%20climbs%2C%20steep%20approaches%2C%20running%20takeoffs%2Flandings%2C%20shallow%20approaches%2C%20and%20slope%20operations%20prepare%20the%20student%20for%20conducting%20flights%20at%20a%20variety%20of%20airports%20and%20heliports.%20During%20that%20time%2C%20the%20student%20will%20expand%20the%20skills%20learned%20in%20the%20previous%20week%2C%20including%20proficiency%20in%20emergency%20procedures.%20You%20will%20gain%20an%20understanding%20of%20the%20physiological%20factors%20which%20can%20affect%20both%20pilot%20and%20passengers%20during%20flight.%20In%20addition%2C%20the%20student%20will%20learn%20how%20to%20conduct%20comprehensive%20preflight%20planning%20for%20cross-country%20flights%20and%20gain%20insight%20into%20factors%20affecting%20the%20decision-making%20process.%20You%20will%20learn%20to%20conduct%20cross-country%20flights%20using%20pilotage%2C%20dead%20reckoning%2C%20and%20radio%20navigation.%20In%20addition%2C%20you%20will%20learn%20how%20to%20conduct%20night%20operations%20safely.%20Once%20you’re%20proficient%20with%20all%20aspects%20of%20emergency%20procedures%20and%20x%2Fc%20operations%2C%20you%20will%20be%20completing%20your%20three%20hours%20of%20%5C%22solo%5C%22%20cross-country%20requirements.%22%7D%2C%7B%22slider_title%22%3A%224th%20Week%22%2C%22slider_desc%22%3A%224th%20WEEK%3A%5CnOnce%20you%20have%20completed%20the%20dual%20night%2C%20solo%20and%20cross%20country%20requirements%2C%20you%20will%20take%20an%20in-house%20Stage%20Check%2C%20at%20which%20our%20chief%20instructor%20will%20simulate%20an%20actual%20practical%20exam%2C%20and%20go%20with%20you%20over%20all%20aspects%20of%20the%20oral%20questioning.%20Once%20our%20chief%20instructor%20decides%20that%20you%20meet%20all%20private%20pilot%20Practical%20Test%20Standards%20(PTS)%2C%20your%20assigned%20instructor%20will%20sign%20you%20off%20for%20the%20FAA%20practical%20test%2C%20also%20known%20as%20a%20checkride%20with%20an%20FAA-designated%20examiner.%20When%20you%20successfully%20complete%20the%20checkride%2C%20you%20will%20be%20a%20private%20pilot%20and%20receive%20your%20license%20within%2090-days.%20The%20temporary%20license%20will%20be%20issued%20immediately%2C%20and%20is%20valid%20for%20120-days%2C%20until%20your%20hard%20card%20arrives%20in%20the%20mail.%20%22%7D%5D”
