Flight Review
Heli Aviation offers Annual and Bi-Annual Flight Reviews (BFR) for helicopter pilots around the globe. These flight reviews are designed to keep you both current and proficient to your pilot Certificate level. Flight reviews can be completed in the R22, R44, MD500D, or Bell 206L Helicopter. The flight review consists of a minimum of one hour ground instruction and a minimum of one hour of flight instruction in accordance with 14 CFR Part 61.56 or SFAR 73. Our review includes the following subjects:
- SFAR 73 Required Awareness Review
- Energy Management
- Mast Bumping
- Low Rotor RPM (Blade Stall)
- Low G Hazards and Recovery
- Rotor RPM Decay, Recognition, and Recovery
- FAR Part 91 Review of current general operating procedures and flight rules
- ADM and CRM
COURSE PREREQUISITES
Hold at least a Private Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate.
Able to read, speak & understand the English language.
Hold at least a 3rd Class Medical.
Weight restrictions apply depending on the aircraft utilized.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
At least 1 hr Dual Flight Training
At least 1 hr Ground Instruction
